Anand Ethirajalu


Project Director

Anand has played a pivotal role in major environmental initiatives undertaken by Isha since 2011, including Rally for Rivers, Cauvery Calling, and Conscious Planet – Save Soil. Under his leadership, these efforts have resulted in the plantation of over 100 million trees and the transition of more than 200,000 farmers to tree-based and regenerative agriculture.

Inspired by Dr. G. Nammazhvar, Anand's passion for environmental conservation is complemented by his strong educational background in Plant Biology and Biotechnology. He also represented Cauvery Calling at UAE COP28, demonstrating his commitment to sustainable practices and policy reforms.

Swami Srimukha

Operations Lead

Swami Srimukha, who joined as a volunteer in 2004 with limited project management experience, has steadily grown into an invaluable leader. In 2021, he assumed the role of operations lead, having previously managed nurseries as part of Cauvery Calling and overseen farmer training and farm management for regenerative agriculture. Swami excels in coordinating teams and establishing efficient processes, ensuring the smooth execution of daily activities. His unwavering commitment to regenerative agriculture has been instrumental in advancing SS-TKV's efforts in Tamil Nadu, facilitating the transition of farmers to regenerative practices.
